The EdTech Revolution and Its Impact on Contemporary Education The emergence of educational technology (EdTech) represents a profound transformation in global teaching and learning practices. This ongoing shift involves the adoption of advanced digital tools designed to make education more personalized, interactive, and accessible. Moving beyond traditional uniform instructional structures, contemporary pedagogical approaches now incorporate adaptive, learner-centered methods that address the needs of diverse student populations (SchoolPosterPrinters, n.d.). This transition marks a significant point in the technological evolution of education, continuing a historical pattern in which digital innovations reshape how learning takes place. Modern advancements such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR), blockchain , and data analytics have introduced a new phase that emphasizes participation, flexibility, and equitable access (OctoProctor, n.d.). ...

Behaviorism

Hasil gambar untuk picture about student learningThe learning theory of "behaviorism" is one of the learning theories that can be  stated as the best learning theory for getting the students behave well in the classroom. Since, the behaviorism is one of the learning theory that more focuses on the students' behavior.

The learning theory of "behaviorism" is the learning theory that expresses and explains about the behavior of learning for the students, particularly the observable behaviors (Watson, 1925), and not the unseen  factors such as beliefs or emotion.  Behavioural learning approach  view the relation between the environment and behavior is the key. The changes to the environment will bring about the changes of behavior. The prophet of Muhammad stated that the children fate or destiny rely on their parents or environment.

If the teachers are able to alter or change the students' behavior in the activity of learning, such as from disliking or hating to liking or enjoying as pointed in the picture above, so the teacher will more easily deliver the lesson or reach the purpose of learning.  Thus, the students' motivation and achievement can be reached when the teachers can change the students' behavior not their mindset. Since, the students' mindset cannot be changed, and the teacher can change the students' behavior only.

In the learning of HOTs, particularly in constructing the students'mindset or thought when they make the test or deliver the lesson, the teachers should be able to present or give stimulus. By the stimulus the  students will react towards the stimulus itself. The process of reaction of the students towards the stimulus point the changes of the students' behavior.

In the Applied Behaviour analysis (ABA), The behavior is more important rather than thinking or feelings, even though  it acknowledge that these exist. The behaviorist  believe that we cannot change students’ thinking and feelings. Instead, ABA aims to change the conditions that surround a behaviour.

Thus, we can conclude that the theory of learning "behaviorism" is one of the learning theories that can be applied or used for getting the students behave well in the classroom. Since, the behaviorism is a learning theory that more focus on the change of the students' behavior and not the students' mindset or thought.
